Order Coordinator

CECMS has developed the following full- time job description and proposed scope of responsibility for a newly created position of Order Coordinator, who shall be responsible for capital projects, ordering, logistics, and communication with China.

The Order Coordinator shall report directly to the Manager of Supply Chain (Tony Shen) of CECMS and have dotted line relationships and provide input, and information to Supply Chain, Sales, and Project teams located in Vancouver.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

· Source and contact pre-qualified suppliers (lists provided) to convince them to commit to the transparency approach

· Customer support in the use of the platform's functionalities

· Follow up with suppliers to ensure that the information is accurate and completed in a timely manner to ensure onboarding is completed

· Transfer Supplier information to sales/ engineers ensuring that all information is correctly entered

  • Present weekly report on client onboarding progress

Field-Acceptance Test (FAT) Responsibilities:

  • Able to travel to vendor/supplier site locations to supervise inspection, testing, and acceptance of products if needed.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Communication, and Business administration
  • Language Skills: English, Chinese, Mandarin.
  • Conviction/persuasion (being able to "sell" our solution to suppliers / convincing them to join our program)
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
  • Candidates must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammar and composition.
  • Excellent skills with MS Word, and Excel.
